OMX Supplies Singapore With New Clearing System

The article announces the plan of the Singapore Exchange (SGX) to implement a new clearing system from Stockholm, Sweden-based OMX for its derivatives and securities trading and over-the-counter business. The new clearing system is part of SGX's ongoing efforts to renew and refresh its IT infrastructure and capabilities, according to senior vice-president Muthukrishnan Ramaswami. It will allow SGX to clear a wide range of products and offer a new set of clearing services to its members.
