ABSTRACT
The article reports on partnerships formed between forex trading platforms and complex event processing (CEP) technology providers. Hotspot FX is partnering with Truviso to offer its hedge fund and asset management firm customers a system for the development, testing and execution of proprietary algorithms. FXall has teamed up with Progress Software Corporation's Apama division on a platform that allows clients to create, deploy customized algorithmic strategies for its Accelor electronic communications network.
