ABSTRACT
The article reports that the U.S. has hosted a meeting in the hope of ending years of violence between Israelis and Palestinians. Israeli and Palestinian leaders have been fighting over the land on which Israel sits since Israel declared itself a nation in 1948. President George W. Bush hopes to broker a peace deal during his last year in office.
