ABSTRACT
The article reports that more enterprises will adopt 3G cellular data services than will choose mobile WiMAX by 2011, according to Infonetics Research. The author reveals that the market research company is also projecting that spending on wireless LAN access points and switches will begin to fall by 2009 as enterprises shift their investments to wide area mobility technologies like 3G and WiMAX. Infonetics predicts that VOIP over WLAN use will double in the next two years, from 12% in 2007 to 25% in 2009.
