ABSTRACT
The article discusses a lawsuit filed by rock band the Romantics over a cover version of their song "What I Like About You" which is featured in the video game "Guitar Hero." The question of whether a band's distinctive sound can be infringed upon is discussed. The rights to the composition were properly obtained by the video game manufacturer, but the original recording was not.
