ABSTRACT
The article reports on the warning given by Cisco to Window users in the U.S. The company cautions Window users of its Cisco Security Agent software and urges them to upgrade the product because of a security bug. The defect is in the driver used by the client software wherein it sends maliciously crafted data to the personal computers (PC), attackers could create a buffer overflow condition in the Windows kernel causing the system to crash. According to Secunia, a security firm, the system is moderately critical but the vulnerability can be used by attackers to run unauthorized software on the Windows machine.
