ABSTRACT
The article discusses the study conducted by the U.S. Government Accountability Office, which explains Forensic Audits and Special Investigations (FSI) team's processes and procedures concerning covert testing and provide examples of covert activities performed. With this, FSI conducts covert tests as red team operations. These operations provided the Congress with irrefutable evidence about the actual ability of federal agencies and to protect government assets from fraudsters.
