The article reports that MGM Mirage, a Las Vegas-based casino operator, will develop a luxury resort on Abu Dhabi Island in the Persian Gulf. Together with Mubadala Development Co., an investment arm of the Abu Dhabi government, MGM will develop and manage the property for a fee. The development will have an entertainment area, a retail complex and restaurants. Gambling operations, which is illegal in Abu Dhabi, will not be part of the development.
