ABSTRACT
The article offers information about the approval of the Chattanooga Tennessee City Council to the building of municipal triple play communications system, despite of a lawsuit in the project. It includes phone, Internet and video service. The supporters believe that this project will decrease electric rates and will conserve energy. However, Tennessee Cable Telecommunications Association Comcast heads appeal to the council to reexamine the viability study and economic risks of the plan.
