ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to the nuclear power industry in the U.S. Nuclear plants have made the necessary preparations for compliance to the mandatory reliability standards imposed by the North American Electric Reliability Corp. (NERC). Technicians at the Huntley Power Station in Tonawanda used daily sample measurements to monitor their steam-water circuits to prevent contamination.
