ABSTRACT
The article features Alexa.com and its capability of ranking internet sites through its reach and pageviews. The traffic rankings are based on the frequency of utilization of the Alexa Toolbar, and sites ranking are based on the putting together of reach and pageviews. Reach is known by the number of singular Alexa users who visit the site on a given day while pageviews are the total number of Alexa user Uniform Resource Locator (URL) request for a site. Yet, multiple request for the similar URL on the same day by the same user is counted as single pageview. The site with the highest combination of users and pageviews wil be ranked as #1. A chart that shows comparison between Amazon.com and HarperCollins.com pageview and reach is presented.
