ABSTRACT
The article reports on Nickelodeon's fourth annual "Worldwide Day of Play," to be held on September 29, 2007. The event is designed to combat childhood obesity by getting children to participate in various physical activities. The network has solicited viewers to go to its Web site and sign up for the child health initiative. Nickelodeon has worked with other pro-social organizations as the Big Brothers of New York City.
