ABSTRACT
The article reports on the financial results of AnnTaylor Stores Corp. in the third quarter of 2007. It posted a 4 percent rise in third-quarter earnings, but slashed its full-year forecast because of economic uncertainty. For the three months ended November 3, 2007, earnings increased to $40.8 million, or 66 cents a diluted share. Sales for the quarter climbed 6 percent to $600.9 million from $566.3 million in 2006. The women's apparel retailer reduced its full-year earnings outlook to a range of $2.05 to $2.15 a diluted share.
