Mental health parity can boost productivity and retention

The article focuses on the mental health parity provided by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. to their employee benefits plans, which cover medical visit limits, deductibles, co-payments, lifetime benefits limits and annual benefit limits. Jim Hackett, CEO of Anadarko, says that the scheme offered a net savings due to productivity improvements. Despite its advantages, the scheme is still being debated in national and state legislatures in the U.S.
