The article focuses on the release of the SAP Business ByDesign customer relationship management (CRM) application software from SAP. Business ByDesign uses services-oriented architecture (SOA) and features integration of CRM function into Microsoft Office applications, executive management support, financials, human capital management, project management, supplier relationship management and supply chain management. Henning Kagermann, chief executive officer of SAP, the company envisioned an end-to-end, flexible, adaptable business processes.
