ABSTRACT
The article reports on the appointment of Scottish independent renewable-energy consultancy SgurrEnergy to advise on a multi-million-pound wind-farm development in China. The company will provide technical advice on the initial phase of the Bailingmiao project on behalf of Honiton Energy, which is emerging as China's fastest-growing alternative-energy provider. According to Steve McDonald, implementation director at SgurrEnergy, the rising demand for energy in China is supporting the rapid expansion of the renewable-energy market.
