ABSTRACT
The article reports on the result of the livestock sale held by the Lleyn Sheep Society in Carlisle, England. The Society opened its sale season with an entry of more than 5800 females and 180 rams. The sale saw ewe lambs reach £160 apiece and shearling gimmers at £130. Breed society chairman Dai Morris and his wife Cynthia received the day's top female price when their ewe lambs reached £160 a head to J N Ellis, Kenley, Shropshire.
