ABSTRACT
The article reports that U.S. Sprint Nextel Corp. has stopped the rollout of the mobile phone service known as Pivot, because Sprint's joint venture with multiple system operators (MSOs)- Comcast Corp., Time Warner Cable Inc., Brighthouse Networks, and Cox Communications Inc. lacks spontaneity. The joint venture was supposed to assist in the wireline and wireless services delivery to around 41 million customers that were served by four cable firms and to Sprint's around 46 million subscribers.
