ABSTRACT
The article reports that Motorola Inc., a global leader in providing integrated communications solutions and embedded electronic solutions, has purchased Terayon Communication Systems Inc. in the U.S. for $140 million cash. Motorola has also agreed in July 2007 to acquire privately-held Leapstone Systems, a communications software developer. The company has likewise inked a definitive merger agreement to buy Modulus Video.
