ABSTRACT
The article reports on the success of Comcast Corp. in the third quarter of 2007 in the U.S. The company was counting 48 million homes passed and had accrued 24 million basic subscribers, nearly 13 million broadband customers and 3.7 million taking Voice over Internet Protocol. It acquired Patriot Media and simplified operations by divvying up assets shared variously with Time Warner and Insight Communications.
