ABSTRACT
The article discusses the Biodontics Educational Program (BEP) at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Supported in part by a grant from the U.S. National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, the BEP curriculum is designed to expose dental students to new diagnostics and treatment products and equipment, and thus assist in selecting and evaluating new technologies. Some of the other and participants supporting the endeavor are Colgate-Palmolive, Bioplant and Oragenics.
