ABSTRACT
The article reports on the call of Dinakar Singh, founding partner of TPG-Axon Capital Management, for a renewed focus on regulation in the form of mandatory inspections and greater disclosure. Speaking at the Securities Industry & Financial Markets Associations's annual meeting, Singh stated that the only way to avoid cutting corners is to have standards that are clear and enforced.
