ABSTRACT
The article provides information on carbon offsetting schemes, the process used by some travel companies to lessen the amount of carbon emissions in Australia. According to the author, carbon offset, is given as an extra charge that the clients can select to pay on top of the price of their flights. Among the companies who have launched the carbon offset schemes include Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin Blue and Gecko's Adventures.
