ABSTRACT
The article reports on the participation of international staff from Siemens in an indoor rowing regatta held in October 2007. The electronics firm, which sponsors the GB Rowing Team, encouraged staff to take part in a companywide competition on rowing machines. According to Teresa Frost, head of talent management at Siemens, the initiative communicated a positive health and fitness message that fitted well with their core values.
