ABSTRACT
This section offers news briefs related to personnel management. The web campaign, For the Want of a Nail, is intended to show leaders and chief executives the importance of human resources issues by showing them what is going on at ground level in their organisations. The Co-operative Group, Sainsbury's and B&Q were among the winners at the Employers Forum on Age inaugural awards for good practice in age diversity. A toolkit was launched by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development to teach HR and managers how to handle difficult people.
