The article presents guidelines that would enable bank marketers and salespeople to work cooperatively together. The success factors missing from most bank sales cultures are focus, accountability and process. Some of the financial industry's best sales organizations are realigning sales and marketing to achieve with regard to sales a common focus, accountability and sales process. The seven basic steps needed to better integrate sales and marketing are discussed.
