Xinyi Glass holds a 12 percent share of the global market for replacement windshields and side windows. A 75 percent rise in sales in the first six months of 2007, to $153 million, has helped its stock price to triple this year. Lee's 24 percent stake is worth $490 million, enough to rank him at 163 on the 2007 top 40 richest man in China.
