Canadian Linen opens Toronto mega plant

The article reports on the opening of the Canadian Linen and Uniform Service in Canada. It is located in a 165,000 square feet facility that once housed the Booth Centennial health care laundry. It is reconfigured for industrial rental to process over 15,000 garments a day with mats, wipes and dust-control items. It notes that one of the spectacular characteristic of the facility is the use of radio frequency chips sewn into each garment combined with bar coding provides 99.7 accuracy.
