The article relates the visit of photographer Nadia Attura in Ostia Beach in Italy. According to Attura, the country's only gay beach is an antidote to the macho vibe that most Italian beaches offer, thus, for gay women it feels like a safe place to hang out and just be themselves. Along her visit to the Ostia Beach, the photographer said that she has met and photographed a selection of women, strangers mostly, over the course of the weekend.
