ABSTRACT
The article reports on the result of the 2006 End-Use Market Survey on the Polyurethanes (PU) Industry in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. It shows that PU production markets among members of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) are strong but changing. It indicates that between 2005-2006, Mexico registered 4.9% volume growth for established PU products, as it continues to evolve as an important low-cost base for may industries, notably automobiles and appliances.
