ABSTRACT
The article evaluates the works of art of Norma Starszakowna related to new materials and techniques in textile designing. It begins with the short profile of the artist and her years of experience and expertise which created a sharp eye for trends, and intensifies her ability of separating the ephemeral from the substantial. Cited are her rendition and her usage of shibori, dye, print processes, and other medium. It ended with her expressed views on new materials and techniques.
