ABSTRACT
The article reports on the partnership between Canteen Dining Services and their client at North Anna Power Station, in Louisa County, Virginia in September 2007 to raise money for the United Way Campaign. Led by District Manager Jay Alga, the team decided to make and sell pizzas to their associates and departments in order to meet their donation goals. The Canteen team worked two 16-hour days, using their personal time to produce the pizzas. They worked in a tiny kitchen to send out orders every 45 minutes throughout the lunch and dinner periods.
