ABSTRACT
The article presents an update on meeting facilities in New York and New Jersey as of November 2007. In New York, the Plaza celebrated its 100th birthday and reopening after three years of refurbishment and the Renaissance New York Times Square is redesigning its public areas to build a new street entrance on Seventh Avenue. In New Jersey, the Borgata Hotel will add a 43-story tower to be named the Water Club at Borgata and the Tropicana is adding 800 new slot machines on the South Casino floor.
