ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the tasks of senior vice president of marketing Janine Bousquette at Internet retailer eToys. In her first nine months at the firm, Bousquette has led internal brand-strategy meetings to develop a global positioning for eToys and launched an agency review that resulted in hiring advertising agency Publicis & Hal Riney. She also spearheaded development of new content on the eToys Web site. Bousquette also served as vice president of marketing at soft drinks company Pepsi-Cola Co. Prior to Pepsi, she worked in marketing for 12 years at packaged goods firm Procter & Gamble Co.
