This article features Linda DeJesus, senior vice president-managing partner at the Bravo Group Hispanic unit of advertising agency Young & Rubicam. DeJesus graduated from the University of Puerto Rico and took her first advertising job with CPV/Bozell Jacobs Kenyan & Eckhardt in San Juan as an assistant account executive in 1984. She moved to Foote, Cone & Belding's San Juan office as an account executive, then jumped to Bravo as an account executive in 1989. Under her charge, brand and advertising awareness and usage measures increased and the agency earned a 1999 Gold Effie. DeJesus works to enlighten clients and other marketers to the trends in multicultural marketing.
