ABSTRACT
The article discusses Internet-based aggregation technologies for helping financial planners retain clients. Applications such as eMoney 360Pro from eMoney Advisory and Wealth Portal from Fusion Advisor let clients log onto the Internet and view a wide range of personal and financial data. In addition to presenting real-time updates of investment accounts and credit card balances, these applications can store scanned copies of important documents such as wills, passports, birth certificates, etc. The convenience of "one-stop" financial review can be a valuable tool in retaining clients.
