ABSTRACT
This article reports on the resignation of John Forbis as executive vice-president and general manger of Convenience Foods, a division of Kellog Co. The company announced in an internal memorandum that Forbis war resigning effective immediately to pursue other interests. An executive close to the company said Forbis' sudden departure was likely due to conflicts with CEO Carlos Gutierrez. Forbis will continue to consult for Kellog on big-picture strategy, for which he was well-regarded. A successor is expected to be named shortly, and the division will report to John Cook, president of Kellog North America.
