ABSTRACT
The article presents information on people who made donations to the U.S. Naval Institute. Clarence E. Leggett, who was a parachute rigger in World War II, donated more than $128,000, as part of his will, to the Institute. In October 2007, former naval officer Douglas Fairbanks Jr.'s widow donated a huge collection of Fairbanks' personal artifacts to the Institute. Life Member Captain Lloyd G. LeCain Jr. donated his Navy dress sword, scabbard, case, and belt.
