ABSTRACT
The article describes the craftsmanship and design of the long-lost 1735 Hart Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesu violin. It was discovered in the French countryside in 2006 and brought to the Stradivari Society in Chicago, Illinois for authentication and restoration. Geoffrey Fushi, chairman of the society led a performance to capture the voices of 15 Stradivari and 15 Guarneri violins to compare the qualities of each instrument and was released in a CD, "The Miracle Makers."
