ABSTRACT
The article focuses on developments in the music industry in New York in 1977. The year was highlighted with a diversity of projects that filled music studios with popular disco and punk/new wave and mainstream pop, rock, jazz and classical music. Popular music releases include "Talking Heads," co-produced by Bongiovi, "Chic" by Nile Rogers and Bernard Edwards and Barry Manilow's "Live."
