The article focuses on the role of retail pharmacists on the business of a pharmaceutical representative and how they can be advocates of a brand in the U.S. Retail pharmacists are trained and licensed healthcare professionals working in pharmacies open to the public. It is inferred that the role and responsibilities of retail pharmacists include conducting drug-utilization review, dealing with reimbursement issues before filling prescriptions, and dispensing prescriptions.
