The Perception of Color in Roses ~ Part Two

The author discusses the processes and factors involved in perceiving the color of a rose. He explains that lighting affects the color such that our perception will depend on the color of the source of light and the color(s) that the rose reflects. However, he explores also how color is derived in the brain, one derivative concept of which is that our perception of color is based on experience during our lifetimes and evolutionary history.
