The article focuses on the construction of the second phase of the PetroRabigh petrochemicals project in Saudi Arabia. The previously announced second phase of PetroRabigh, a petrochemicals joint venture between Sumitomo Chemical and Saudi Aramco, would involve building plants to produce about 16 downstream products, sources say. The expansion could require a doubling of Sumitomo and Aramco's joint $10-billion investment in the first phase of PetroRabigh, sources add.
