Measurement of scorch and cure properties

The article discusses methods to measure rubber cure properties. It also presents information about several products related to it and graphs showing pattern of measuring rubber cure properties. The first commercial curemeter was the oscillating disk rheometer or ODR introduced in 1965. In the late 1980s, the Moving Die Rheometer or MDR, was introduced. This curemeter eliminated the rotor and produced a cure curve under nearly true isothermal conditions and strains near the requested strain.
