ABSTRACT
The article provides information on the Air Movement & Control Association International's (AMCA) certified ratings program (CRP). Examples of standard performance measures such as air delivery, pressure, efficiency are provided. To ensure that a product meets standards, the author suggested that buyers look for devices that have been lab tested under the requirements of the CRP. Demonstrating due diligence by specifying products with the trademarked AMCA International Seal is also discussed.
