ABSTRACT
The article explores why Lithgow, New South Wales is considered a perfect place for a day cycling trip. Lithgow is located between the Blue Mountains and the Mudgee road. With a population of under 20,000, the place is a perfect base for cyclists to form cycling trips. Two popular routes are the Caves Road, Rydal Loop and Wallerawang, Portland and Cullen Bullen.
