Firefighter Aid Is Key Factor in Reports

The article reports on the survey of the National Firefighter Near-Miss Reporting System concerning key factors that motivate firefighters to submit their reports in Frankfort, Illinois. The survey has found that about eighty-three percent of the firefighters answered that their motivation was to help another firefighter. The city's Fire District, which adopts the system, has received the National Fire Fighter Near-Miss Safety Leadership Award for its dedication and use of near-miss reports.
