The article describes the Chinati Foundation, a museum of contemporary art established by the late Donald Judd in Marfa, Texas. It gives information on how to get there and describes the landscape along the way. It also provides information on how Judd, John Flavin, and Marianne Stockebrand transformed the place into the Mecca of Contemporary Art.
