The article focuses on the perception of managers on the role of sustainability in business. According to a research conducted by Harris Interactive Inc. on behalf of Dow Corning Corp., 80% managers said their final decision in their supplier selection process would be influenced by the supplier's approach to sustainability. The research also found that health and safety of employees and customers is considered the most important influence in all the countries surveyed.
