Armada International;Oct/Nov2007 Supplement, Vol. 31, p2
The article discusses the evolution of transportation means, both currently available and those in the making, in the order in which they are most often employed-air, sea and land- with a strong bias on the aspect of support . In late 2006, PT Dirgantara Indonesia was licensed to produce and market in Asia the 8.1 tonne Eads-Casa C-212-400, a lightweight fixed-wing transport craft and it is hoped that the Indonesian government will choose this craft over Poland's PZL-Mielec M-28B Skytruck. Twin-jet transport craft and tankers are also discussed.
